The neighborhood concept was introduced by Royal Caribbean on their Oasis Class ships, and has been taken to new heights with the Icon Class. One of the newest neighborhood’s making its debut on Icon of the Seas is the AquaDome.
The AquaTheater was a huge hit on the Oasis ships, and on Icon, Royal took it from the aft to the crown of the ship, enclosed it, and made it bigger and better than ever before!
What to Expect
Enclosing the AquaTheater was the perfect move, allowing for performances to continue, no matter what the weather or temperature. The theater gives Icon is unique look, as the glass dome sits prominently in the front, an entirely new and almost futuristic look for the Royal ships.
The AquaDome Theater & Performances
Inside, the theater is located in the very center, with the seating in a circle around it, so every one of the guests has the best view in the house. A waterfall feature will cascade from the roof, and acrobats and athletes will perform incredible feats within the waterfall – an all new and brilliantly choreographed experience!
Lounge & Observation Spaces
Just outside of the beautiful theater will be an array of lounging spaces. This is the perfect location, giving guests the ability to relax, socialize, and take in the incredible forward views out of the dome windows.
AquaDome Market
Royal is introducing the first ever food hall in the fleet with the all-new AquaDome Market. Five separate food stands will serve up delicious and varied menu options, and all complimentary! Here you can enjoy Mediterranean dishes, mac and cheese, bbq, salads, Asian cuisine, and a delicious crepe station. There is also a bar with a selection of wine and beers to pair with your meal.
Rye & Bean
This beautiful bar transitions perfectly from day to night. Here you can enjoy a cocktail in the evening or a delicious latte during the day.
Hooked Seafood
A Royal Caribbean favorite, Hooked is the New England style seafood spot onboard Icon. Enjoy lobster, crab cakes, or oysters at the raw bar at this delicious specialty dining venue.
Celebration Table
This is a new VIP style concept being introduced on Icon, where you can reserve a space for you and 13 of your closest friends for an evening. You can enjoy your own personal lounge before moving on to the dinner table where delicious cuisine (your choice of Asian, Italian, or American) is served family style by the large windows with sweeping ocean views.

Coastal Kitchen
This is the complimentary dining option for Star Class guests onboard. On Icon it is located in the AquaDome, overlooking the theater, so you can enjoy dinner and a show all at the same time!
