Each year I curate select voyages for Harr Travel. These hosted sailings offer a blend of expert guidance and immersive experiences at sea, and they are led by me or a member of our highly knowledgeable team. Guests get exclusive perks like personalized itineraries, onboard events, and local insights straight from someone who has actually been there.

You’ll get personalized attention and recommendations from our team leading up to your hosted voyage, and on board during your trip. It’s a fantastic way to explore new destinations while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow adventurers, all alongside a dedicated travel professional who is sailing right there with you.

A note on planning ahead

Contemporary hosted sailings typically book 6 to 12 months out. Small ship and luxury voyages, and our custom land tours, tend to sell out further in advance – often 12 to 24 months before departure. If a date below calls to you, don’t wait too long to reach out.

Explora III | October 25 – November 1, 2026, November 1 – 8, 2026, or both legs roundtrip

Explora Journeys has become one of our fastest-growing brands, and the brand-new Explora III – launching this August – is where we’ll be hosting not one but two sailings. Join us for the seven-night Miami to San Juan sailing (Oct 25-Nov 1), the seven-night San Juan back to Miami (Nov 1-8), or combine them for a full 14-night round trip.

The ship carries under 1,000 passengers on a 72,000-gross-ton hull, the same size as ships built for 2,500. The smallest cabin is a suite. The buffet is, and I mean this sincerely, the best I have ever seen on any ship: made-to-order ceviche, fresh pasta stations, fish and steaks. The Caribbean ports are equally spectacular. I have been to the Caribbean over 150 times and on this voyage we’ll be getting five or six new ports I’ve never seen, including Antigua, St. John (where I proposed to my wife), Guadeloupe, St. Martin, St. Kitts, and St. Barts.

8-Night Southern Caribbean | November 14-22, 2026 | Curacao, Aruba and Perfect Day at CocoCay | Roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale

The world’s largest cruise ship is making her US debut, and we want you there. We have two options: a three-night christening sailing out of Fort Lauderdale (November 11), the actual naming event, complete with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the AquaTheater, and the ice-skating rink, or an eight-night sailing immediately after (November 14) hitting Aruba (with an overnight until 11:00 PM) and two stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay. Do both back-to-back and enjoy 11 unforgettable days together, including two days at CocoCay.

Ovation of the Seas | December 29, 2026 – January 4, 2027 | Ensenada & overnight in Cabo San Lucas | Roundtrip from Los Angeles

Ring in 2027 with us. The newly renovated Ovation of the Seas sails six nights from Los Angeles, my home port, to Cabo San Lucas and back. Unlike virtually every other cruise line, Royal Caribbean actually overnights in Cabo, which means on New Year’s Day we’ll be heading ashore together. I have a special experience planned at one of my all-time favorite restaurants, more details to come.

We’ll toast the New Year with champagne or a beverage of your choice at midnight, then you have a full day to explore Cabo on January 1st. Sailing into Cabo San Lucas is always a marvel. Wildlife opportunities are plentiful in winter, and you often see whales and dolphins close to the ship as it rounds Baja California. This voyage is special for so many reasons.

A full year of hosted travel is already taking shape – river cruising, big-ship Caribbean and Alaska, a small-ship luxury run to the fjords, and a land tour that I consider the most meaningful trip we’ve ever run.

Norwegian Fjords on the Celebrity Apex

Celebrity Apex | May 7-15, 2027 | Southampton roundtrip

Itinerary: Bergen, Geiranger (possibly the last season this is offered on larger ships), Olden, Flåm, Stavanger.

The Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is widely expected to close to ships of this size by 2028. This sailing may be your last opportunity to experience it. We’re hosting a group aboard the Celebrity Apex for an itinerary through Bergen, Flåm, Geiranger, and beyond. My youngest son completed his first three cruises back-to-back on the Apex, and it remains one of his all-time favorites for this kind of destination. Optional pre and post stays in London are in the works for those interested in a little extra exploration.

Alaska – Norwegian Encore, Seattle Roundtrip with Optional Cruisetour

Norwegian Encore | Cruise dates: June 13-20, 2027 | Seattle roundtrip. Optional pre-tour June 8-13, 2027: arrival in Fairbanks on June 8, then Fairbanks, Denali, and Anchorage, with an included flight from Anchorage to Seattle to board the ship.

For those who want Alaska with big-ship energy, the Norwegian Encore was built for this destination. Its Observation Lounge, outdoor Ocean Walk, and Haven accommodations are second to none. The itinerary covers Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Glacier Bay National Park. Imagine sitting at Cagney’s Steakhouse with a fjord gliding past the window. Available as a seven-night Seattle round trip or a 13-night version with an inland Alaska pre-cruise starting in Fairbanks.

Even for domestic-feeling departures like Seattle, a valid passport or approved travel document is required for this itinerary. We’ll walk you through exactly what’s needed well before departure.

Crystal Serenity | June 21-July 1, 2027 | Roundtrip Vancouver

Cruise: Seymour Narrows cruising, Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier, Sitka, Klawock, Victoria.

If you want to take Alaska to the next level, this is the sailing. Crystal Serenity once carried 1,250 passengers and now sails with just 800 to 850, giving it a space ratio that rivals Explora Journeys. The dining is in a class of its own: Umi Uma by Nobu is one of the two specialty restaurants on board, and the black miso cod alone is worth the price of admission. The itinerary covers Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier, and Victoria, round trip from Vancouver.

This voyage departs from and returns to Canada, so a valid passport is required for every guest. Let us know if you need help getting your documents in order.

Symphony of the Seas | July 17-25, 2027 | Roundtrip Galveston

Cruise: Cozumel, Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau.

Sometimes you want the greatest ship in the world, a great itinerary, and a great price point, and Symphony of the Seas delivers all three. Eight nights out of Galveston, Texas, hitting Perfect Day at CocoCay and some of the best destinations in the Caribbean. Symphony is one of my all-time favorite ships ever built. Entry-level balcony pricing is exceptionally reasonable, and Star Class suites are available for those who want to go all out. A six-night extension is also available.

Celebrity Silhouette | October 5-16, 2027 | 11 nights, roundtrip Boston

Cruise: Portland, Rockland, Halifax, Sydney (Nova Scotia), Quebec City overnight, Charlottetown PEI.

One of the most underrated itineraries in all of cruising. This Boston round-trip sailing on the Celebrity Silhouette visits St. John, Halifax, Charlottetown, Sydney, Bar Harbor, Portland, and Newport, Rhode Island. The Silhouette just came out of one of the best dry docks I’ve ever seen, she is stunning. Harr Travel has very limited space at prices several thousand dollars cheaper than the current rate, and it includes WiFi and the Classics beverage package for the first two guests, but these rates will not last. I also have something special planned for us in Newport. This itinerary is an absolute home run.

AmaStella | December 5-12, 2027 | Basel to Amsterdam

Itinerary: Basel, Breisach, Strasbourg, Ludwigshafen, Rudesheim, Cologne, Utrecht, Amsterdam.

We’re closing out 2027 the right way. A classic seven-night sailing from Amsterdam to Basel: arrive during the Festival of Lights, take a canal tour through a glowing city, then sail south as the Rhine comes alive with some of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the world, stunning cathedrals, mulled wine, handcrafted gifts, and centuries of tradition at every stop. A pre-extension in Amsterdam and a post-extension to Lucerne and Basel are both available. For those who sailed with us on the Rhine and Moselle earlier in the year, this is the perfect bookend to a spectacular 2027 of travel.
