The “food hall” is a concept that has been growing in popularity within the cruise industry, as more and more brands are beginning to put their own versions on newer ships. Royal Caribbean has ventured into these water with the creation of the AquaDome Market, their first ever food hall that has debuted on Icon of the Seas.
The idea being the food hall is a slightly more elevated complimentary dining experience than the onboard buffet- something that has a “specialty” feel without the prices. Royal Caribbean hit it out of the park with the AquaDome Market, offering several varied and delicious food options to enjoy from lunch until late into the night.
The market is found within the AquaDome, just steps away from the beautiful AquaTheater, so you can easily grab your favorite dish to enjoy while watching the show. Here you will find 5 different food stations with a global theme, each representing a small corner of the world.
Food Stations
MAC’S | For a bit of comfort food, Mac’s has you covered. Here you can grab your favorite mac and cheese from regular, to bacon, bbq, and much more.
GNGR | Here you will find delicious Asian flavors such as teriyaki chicken or beef, snow peas, all spooned over your choice of rice or noodles. Grab a fortune cookie, and enjoy!
FETA MEDITERRANEAN | Enjoy a lighter option with fresh pita bread, bowls, and gyros at Feta Mediterranean.
TOAST & GARDEN | Drop by Toast and Garden for your choice of yummy sandwiches and made-to-order salads.
CREME DE LA CREPE | If you are craving something sweet, you will want to stop by Crème de la Crepe for an authentic French crepe. You can have it filled with nutella or sweet cream, and topped with bananas, strawberries, caramel syrup, and more!
