As part of Royal Caribbean’s “Royal Amplification” project, Ovation of the Seas will undergo a dry dock and extensive renovations in 2026. The Quantum Class ship will see expanded venues, new concepts, and fan-favorite dining options brought onboard! In addition, Royal has announced amplifications for both Harmony of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas, adding fan favorites that are sure to delight guests!
Here are all the changes we will see onboard these 3 ships in 2026:
Ovation of the Seas
CASINO | The casino will be greatly expanded, taking over the lower portion of what currently is the Music Hall.
SOUND CELLAR | The upper level of the Music Hall will be replaced by a new music and dance venue called “Sound Cellar.”
PESKY PARROT | The Bionic Bar, with its robot bartenders, will be replaced by the tiki bar concept “Pesky Parrot,” first introduced on Utopia of the Seas.
STARBUCKS | The La Patisserie coffee shop on the Royal Promenade will be converted into a full, standalone Starbucks.
IZUMI TEPPANYAKI | The Wonderland specialty restaurant will be replaced by Izumi Teppanyaki, offering hibachi-style dining. Izumi Sushi will remain in its current location.
GIOVANNI’S | Jamie’s Italian will be replaced by Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen.
NEW CABINS | The ship’s photo gallery will be replaced with ten new cabins, and seven additional cabins will be added near the fitness center.
NEW SUITES | The Concierge Club on Deck 12 and the Conference Center on Deck 13 will be replaced with new suites, including the two-story Ultimate Family Suite.
ROYAL HQ | The shore excursion desk is being replaced with a new space called “Royal HQ.”
SPLASHAWAY BAY | The kids’ aquapark on Deck 14 will be reworked, with a slightly expanded footprint.
SUITE LOUNGE | The teen club, The Living Room, will be replaced with a new Suite Lounge, since the old one is being converted into suites.
Harmony of the Seas
Harmony will undergo less extensive renovations than Ovation, but will be adding many fan-favorite venues during her amplification, including:
- A Refreshed Solarium
- Lime & Coconut Bar
- Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse
- El Loco Fresh
- Pesky Parrot
- Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade
- Ultimate Family Suite
- Ultimate Panoramic Suite
